Here’s a great post by Tiffany Jones on learning to effectively manage client relationships. Clients, as we know can be, well, crazy. It’s about learning to manage this personalities and projects calmly and positively. It’s our responsibility to make it work. That’s the gist, of the post, and I agree.

This point really struck a chord with me as I was listening to the (really awesome) new podcast show from 37 Signals. When determining the pricing model for the product you will be selling, it’s important to focus on the customer’s perspective, not your own bottom line.

The minute I began thinking about leaving my full-time job and going solo, I knew it was going to happen. The only question was when. And the answer was, as soon as possible.

For entrepreneurs and freelancers, there is no internal debate. There is no weighing of options over whether or not to pursue something you’re passionate about. We skip that hesitation stage and go strait to planning and setting goals. It’s the nature of the beast.
